Qualifications

• Hold a first degree in Chemistry and PhD in synthetic chemistry including multi-step synthesis of compounds.
• Essential knowledge of luminescence studies and quantum yields.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and manage research activities and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop research objectives and proposals for own or joint research with mentor support.
• Contribute to writing bids for research funding.
• Analyse and interpret data and disseminate findings.
• Supervise students and provide guidance on research activities.
• Contribute to enterprise, public engagement and administrative processes.
