Job summary

The University of Southampton invites applications for a Research Fellow to contribute to an NSF-EPSRC project on oxide-dispersion-strengthened magnesium alloys. The candidate should hold a PhD (or near completion) in materials science or a related field, with experience in physical metallurgy, SEM/EDS, EBSD and TEM/STEM.

Qualifications

• Experience in physical metallurgy and advanced microstructure characterisation highly relevant.
• Publication record and ability to collaborate across groups essential.

Responsibilities
