The University of Southampton is seeking a Research Fellow in Integrated Sensing and Communications for a full-time, fixed-term position. This role involves pioneering research in mathematical analysis and performance evaluation for innovative wireless systems, ideal for candidates nearing completion of their PhD. The project involves frontier research in mathematical and simulation-based performance evaluation, as well as the design of next-generation wireless systems with innovative arrangements. The focus is on communications theory and multi-component Pareto-optimization of space-air-ground integrated networks. A strong theoretical background in mathematical analysis is essential. Candidates should have excellent programming skills and a proven publication record. The successful applicant will hold, or be nearing completion of, a PhD in a related field.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 22 months.

Applicants working towards or nearing completion of a relevant PhD will be considered. The title of Research Fellow will be awarded upon PhD completion; prior to that, the position will be titled Senior Research Assistant.
