Research Fellow in Health Systems and Policy, London

About the role

This position will support the development of the Health Systems and Policy research theme at GBSH, focusing on Primary Health Care (PHC). The successful candidate will collaborate with Professor Kabir Sheikh on the Urban Primary Health Care learning sites project, coordinating multi-partner efforts and contributing to various workstreams. Additionally, they will help advance the theme through research, funding proposals, and organizing academic events.

We seek someone with expertise in health policy and systems research in low- and middle-income countries, capable of working across disciplines and engaging with health system stakeholders at various levels. Experience in research and partnerships in these settings is essential.

About you

You should hold a PhD in health systems, health policy, public health, global health, health economics, or a related social science. Experience in health systems strengthening with a focus on health equity in low- and middle-income countries is required.
