Tailored resume and cover letter, ready to send.
The University of Leeds invites applications for a Research Fellow in Computational Chemistry. The project focuses on ultrafast chemical dynamics and attosecond processes, exploring rearrangements of chemical bonds in molecules in collaboration with physicists.
The position is funded by the UKRI/EPSRC Attochemistry grant. The successful candidate will develop and apply computational methods to simulate chemical dynamics on extremely fast time scales and contribute to interdisciplinary teamwork.
This job is only available to University of Leeds staff. It may be released externally should we not appoint internally.
Are you a researcher looking for a new challenge? Do you have background in Computational Chemistry or Physics? Do you have an experience in computational chemistry? Are you interested in ultrafast chemistry?
In this project you will investigate chemistry on extremely fast time scale. In particularly you will work on understanding of rearrangements of chemical bonds in molecules, which happens on the attosecond time scale. Your research will be in collaboration with physicists.
This position will be funded by UKRI/EPSRC grant Attochemistry of biomolecular building blocks. The project is focused on simulation of chemical dynamics at the time scale of chemical bond rearranging.
