Job summary

Birmingham City University is seeking a Research Fellow to join the Knowledge to Care research group at City South Campus. The role suits a postdoctoral researcher eager to expand a career in health research, with emphasis on implementation science or knowledge mobilisation and mixed methods.

This is a fixed-term contract for 30 months. You will execute delegated tasks, work within a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to rapid reviews, data collection, and analysis to evaluate a care bundle

Qualifications

• Postdoctoral researcher with health research experience and a track record in qualitative methods.
• Ability to lead elements of mixed-methods studies and disseminate findings.
• Strong publication record and experience working with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate elements of the study and ensure alignment with protocol.
• Support ethics application processes and participant recruitment.
• Conduct fieldwork including qualitative interviews and focus groups.
• Carry out data analysis and maintain robust research records.
• Publish high-quality journal papers and contribute to reports.
