Research Fellow - Dementia Project, London

This role is based in London, UK, and requires an EU work permit.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic qualitative researcher with a PhD in health or social care research and a strong interest in dementia. The candidate should have experience in completing qualitative research projects, including conducting interviews, thematic analysis, and disseminating findings in health or social care settings. A good understanding of ethical issues in dementia research is essential. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to work well within a team and demonstrate leadership potential.

  • This is a fixed-term contract funded until May 31st.
  • Appointment at Grade 7 depends on having been awarded a PhD; otherwise, initial appointment at Grade 6B (£38,000 - £41,000 per annum), with backdated payment at Grade 7 (£44,000 per annum) upon final PhD submission.
  • The role qualifies for a skilled worker visa or global talent visa under UK legislation. Applications from international candidates requiring visas are welcome.
  • A DBS check will be required.
