Job summary

Brunel University of London is seeking a Research Fellow in AI for Molecular Modelling to lead the computational aspects of a UKRI NERC-funded project. The role focuses on protein structure modelling, docking, and detailed analysis of protein-ligand interactions, with collaboration to align AI methods with experimental data from Southampton.

Qualifications

• Experience with protein molecular modelling and protein–ligand docking.
• Experience applying machine learning to computational biology.
• Software development in Python is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the computational component of the project through protein structure modelling, molecular docking and detailed analysis of protein-ligand interactions.
• Integrate results with receptor-interaction data from Southampton to develop and evaluate AI methods for predicting chemical binding and species sensitivity.
