Coventry University Group invites applications for a Research Fellow to join an industry-led project on battery intelligence for BESSs. You will focus on battery testing, data analysis, modelling, and AI-enabled state estimation, contributing to experimental investigations and algorithm development.
The project is fully funded by Innovate UK for 12 months from February 1, 2027. Based at Coventry University, you will work with two industry partners to address practical challenges in battery
Formación
- PhD in Electrical/Electronic/Control/CS/Energy/Applied Mathematics or equivalent.
- Expertise in lithium-ion batteries, BMS, and battery ageing.
- Strong research track record with publications and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
- Experience developing research proposals and managing projects.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance is essential.
Responsabilidades
- Conduct battery testing, data analysis, modelling, and AI-enabled state estimation development.
- Develop and implement state estimation algorithms for battery systems.
- Validate research outcomes using laboratory measurements and real-world data.
- Collaborate with industry partners and multidisciplinary teams.
