Qualifications

  • PhD (or near completion) in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Specialist knowledge in at least one area such as electrical machines, rotordynamics, or control engineering.
  • Experience with multiphysics, finite element modelling and experimental test rigs.

Responsibilities

  • Design, modelling and experimental validation of rotating machinery and subsystems.
  • Develop and deliver defined technical work packages with minimal supervision.
  • Build and commission test capability to validate technology and collect data.
  • Advise staff and students and contribute to project milestones and outputs.
