The University of Surrey invites applications for a Research Fellow to join the SELECT-3DAM project. The role focuses on antenna synthesis and the physical layer radio aspects to enable 3D Angular Momentum Multiplexing for train infrastructure.

This is a three-year, full-time appointment, expected to run until March 2029, with opportunities to design and construct a concept demonstrator and to work alongside RF and antennas researchers.

Qualificações

• The candidate must hold a PhD (or be close to completion) in Electronic Engineering, Mathematics or related areas.
• Postdoctoral research or industrial experience is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and numerical simulation skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct simulations and analyses for the SELECT-3DAM project.
• Contribute to the design and construction of a concept demonstrator.
• Collaborate with RF/antennas researchers and supervise other researchers as needed.
