Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking an experienced Antenna Design Engineer for a leading Defence and Aerospace organisation in Buckinghamshire. The role focuses on designing, simulating, developing and validating advanced antenna systems for military and aviation applications.

You will collaborate with RF, Electronics, Systems, Mechanical and EMC teams to deliver high‑performance solutions. Candidates should have EMI and RF test experience, and be adept with CST HFSS FEKO ADS EMPro tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic, RF, or related engineering.
• Proven experience designing RF/microwave antenna systems.
• Strong understanding of EM theory, RF propagation and microwave engineering.
• Experience using EM tools CST HFSS FEKO ADS EMPro.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop antenna systems for Defence and aerospace applications.
• Model, simulate, and optimize antennas using industry EM tools.
• Conduct RF measurements and validate in lab/anechoic chamber.
• Prepare technical reports and design documentation.
• Support integrated systems and certification processes.
