An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Research Team at Cambridgeshire Community Service (CCS) NHS Trust. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Research Facilitator to support research activity and culture. The post is funded by the Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN EoE).
The post is fixed term until 31st March 2026.

This fixed term post is to support the Trust Research Team in facilitating the adoption of research studies on the NIHR portfolio into clinical areas throughout the Trust and promoting other research opportunities.
The primary aim is to support clinical services in participating in NIHR Portfolio Studies, including commercial research, to develop the research culture and readiness for Clinical Trials of Investigational Medicinal Products (CTIMPs). The post holder will collaborate with academic institutions and research networks such as the NIHR RDN East of England.
Applicants can have a clinical or non-clinical background. Clinical candidates must be registered with an appropriate body. Non-clinical candidates should have current healthcare knowledge, NHS understanding, and experience in research facilitation or healthcare project management.

Experience in clinical research, including commercial research, is preferred but not essential as training and mentoring will be provided. You will support the development of the research culture, assist clinical teams in patient recruitment, manage study assessments, and ensure accurate data reporting. Collaboration with healthcare professionals and excellent communication skills are essential. The role requires autonomous working, workload management, and flexibility to cover the Trust's geography, including travel to various sites.
