Working within the Engineering Services Team, you'll have the opportunity to support a wide variety of projects. You'll work with diverse customers who will range from established Small & Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups, scale-ups and everything in between. Making this a great way to build up your technical and customer skills, industry knowledge and support services.

- Site visits and discovery workshops, in-person or virtual with specialists
- Technical support, offering guidance, advice and reassurance

- Innovation projects to develop products, services, processes and technologies
- Adoption and training services to transform and upskill businesses
What you'll be doingYou'll be working on many different projects with a wide variety of customers from a variety of industries. So, an ability to adapt your approach, an openness to learning and willingness to build your capabilities and experience. An engineering product design background or qualifications would really help you in this role. You'll be working with business owners, entrepreneurs and inventors directly:
- Solving technical challenges
- Developing products and services.
- Engaging customers and working alongside them.
- Translating ideas into actionable product development pathways.
- Delivering projects & programmes.
- Helping organisations to be sustainable (environmental, financial, social and human).
- Developing supply chains and capabilities.
- Understanding markets and advising.
What are we looking forIt's what you can do in the future, alongside us, that we care about most. We're looking for somebody that can join our customers on their journeys and take them to the right places, in lots of ways. This could be developing hardware, implementing services, designing digital systems, creating media or business development. Your experience might look something like the following, if you know how SMEs work - even better.
In terms of qualifications, you are likely to have a degree or equivalent industrial experience in
- Engineering design and manufacturing.
- Product and service development.
- Sustainability (human, social, economic and environmental).
It is a highly people focused and creative role from an engineering design perspective. Testing individual thinking and coming up with solutions which add value to product or service design.
