Job summary

European Tech Recruit seeks a Research Engineer to advance AI projects in semiconductor design and optimisation. Based in London or Cambourne, you will implement ML ideas, build prototypes, and translate theory into practical systems.

You will collaborate with researchers, maintain research infrastructure, and document findings while applying knowledge of Python, C++, and DL frameworks to real-world challenges in a permanent role.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing machine learning algorithms and techniques.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or similar programming languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX) advantageous.
• Experience with optimisation, reinforcement learning, or LLMs a plus.
• Exposure to chip design or applied AI research desirable.
