NES Fircroft is recruiting a Research & Development Technician with a focus on seed production to join a leading agricultural company. This role is based at our client's site in Bracknell on a 12-month contract.

As a Research & Development Technician, you will carry out day-to-day production and maintenance of plant and seed materials.

You will also be responsible for:

• Maintaining plants under glasshouse conditions
• Identifying areas for improvements in efficiency
• Accurately keeping records and databases current
• Ensuring compliance with regulations on containment and use of genetically modified organisms and licensed plant material in glasshouses, growth rooms, and labs

Education and Experience:

• General knowledge of plant biology
• Knowledge of seed production and horticultural techniques
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
