Research Development Manager at London Southbank University

London Southbank University is recruiting for the position of Research Development Manager within their Research, Enterprise and Innovation (REI) department. The REI team collaborates with academics to leverage opportunities, funding, and industry connections to support LSBU’s research and enterprise ambitions. The partnerships focus on addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges, delivering tangible real-world outcomes.

This role offers the opportunity to lead the coordination and development of large, interdisciplinary research proposals, support Principal Investigators, and provide guidance on the UK and international research funding landscape. The postholder will also horizon scan for major funding opportunities aligned with the university’s research themes and build relationships with external funding bodies and stakeholders.

About You

The ideal candidate will be degree-educated, preferably with a PhD, highly motivated, and possess a thorough understanding of the UK and international research funding landscape, policies, and processes. Experience with Open Data, Research Integrity, and Ethics is highly desirable.
