Qualifications

  • PhD in immunology or related field.
  • Post-PhD research experience in academia or industry.
  • Strong background in immunology and disease biology.
  • Experience with high-dimensional datasets and multi-omics data.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and/or R for data analysis.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct in vitro experiments supporting target biology.
  • Generate translational assays, including complex cell culture models.
  • Apply immunology techniques such as coculture, 3D models, and flow cytometry.
  • Analyse large datasets, including RNA sequencing and proteomics data.
  • Develop and apply data analysis pipelines using Python, SQL, and R.
  • Interpret results and present findings to diverse audiences.
  • Generate and analyse in vitro, in vivo, and ex vivo data supporting programs across all stages of research and clinical development.
  • Develop translational assays, explore mechanisms of action, and identify novel therapeutic strategies in immunology.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and contribute to scientific decision-making.
  • Work alongside colleagues across research and clinical development to advance innovative therapies.

Salary: £70,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Education to PhD or equivalent in immunology or a related scientific field.
  • Post-PhD experience in academia or industry.

  • Demonstrable experience in macrophage biology.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and/or R for data analysis.
