Job summary

Oxford Knight is seeking a Research Data Engineer to own the end-to-end data pipeline for alpha research, onboarding vendor data, validating and normalising datasets, and delivering high-quality data products for trading strategies.

You will work closely with researchers to build valuable datasets, act as the datasets SME, and contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment where coding is front and centre.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end data pipeline from ingestion to feature delivery for alpha research.
• Onboard raw vendor data, validate, normalize, and curate datasets.
• Collaborate with researchers to build datasets that add value to trading strategies.
• Ensure high quality service via rigorous data checks and alerting.
• Serve as subject-matter expert for the deployed datasets.
