Job summary

University of Manchester invites applications for a Lead Data Analyst (Research) to strengthen business intelligence and analytical capability, supporting strategic decisions and external assessments for research performance. The role requires strong stakeholder management and the ability to demonstrate BI value across the university.

You will work within the Directorate of Research and Business Engagement, partnering with the Research Committee and faculties to deliver impactful BI solutions.

Qualifications

Experience in design, build and deployment of BI in higher education.
Strong stakeholder management and ability to demonstrate BI value and influence.
Excellent people and communication skills with the ability to influence and drive adoption.

Responsibilities

Strengthen business intelligence capability to support research performance analysis.
Support strategic decision-making and readiness for external assessments for Research Excellence Framework and similar exercises.
Collaborate with the Directorate of Research and Business Engagement, Research Committee and faculties to align BI with university needs.
