Job description

Research Coordinator

Location: Worcester (Hybrid working - office and home-based)
Contract: 12-month fixed term (with the potential for a permanent role)
Salary: £32,244 per annum

If you are you naturally curious, analytically minded, and self-motivated individual, our client is looking for a Research Coordinator to join a small, dynamic team at the heart of strategic change within a local, large organisation

As Research Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting cross-organisational strategy and research projects within the Strategy and Sustainability directorate. Reporting directly to the Group Director, you'll work closely with teams focused on environmental and social sustainability.

Your work will inform everything from key policy responses to organisational change and long-term planning. You'll engage with stakeholders across the business, synthesise complex information, and turn it into accessible, actionable insights.

Some key aspects of the role will include (but not be limited to):

Conducting wide-ranging research to inform strategic planning

Analysing internal and external data, including Government policy and academic research

Identifying trends and best practices to support project delivery and implementation

Producing clear, engaging, and high-quality reports

Building and maintaining relationships with colleagues across the organisation to support effective knowledge-sharing

Skills and experience required:

Proven research and analysis skills

Confidence in working independently and proactively

Excellent attention to detail and strong project management abilities

Great communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships

Strong time management and organisational skills
