Job description
Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated recently graduated Research Physiologist to join the research team led by Professor Stuart Rosen at Ealing Hospital. This is a 6-month fixed-term post, with good potential for extension, depending on external grant funding.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a pioneering research project in autonomic assessment, combining clinical physiology with cutting-edge data science. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and executing research with substantial clinical impact.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting advanced physiological data acquisition in line with study protocols
  • Designing, setting up, and managing clinical studies focused on autonomic dysregulation in compliance with research governance and ethics regulations
  • Applying artificial intelligence tools to analyse and interpret large physiological datasets
  • Maintaining meticulous research records and contributing to publications and presentations
  • Mentoring junior physiologists during research
  • Assisting with the preparation of grant applications
