Funded by the British Academy, Dr. Marek Palace's TAILWIND project seeks a part-time (6 hours/week) Research Associate for a 12-month contract.

The Research Associate will work under supervision and independently within the specified project, primarily conducting literature reviews and collecting data from Ukrainian refugee children. They will assist with publication writing, grant extension applications, and engage with project teams at LJMU and the University of St Andrews. Subject to additional funding, the contract may be extended beyond 12 months.

Applicants should hold a Master’s or PhD degree, have regular access to a camera-enabled computer and broadband, and experience or ability to work remotely. Experience working with ethnic minority children, an interest in art therapy, and knowledge of or interest in Ukrainian culture or language are desirable. Experience in art therapy grant development and working with ethnic minority children in schools is also desirable.
