Job summary

UEA is seeking a Research Associate in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Norwich Medical School, Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychological Therapies, to work on a funded project developing accessible anxiety measures in stroke.

The successful candidate will travel to stroke rehabilitation wards in the region and support data collection by administering mental health questionnaires to stroke survivors, with duties including consent and capacity assessment if required.

Qualifications

  • Speech and Language Therapy graduate
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data and work effectively as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Travel to stroke wards in the region to administer mental health questionnaires to stroke survivors
  • Support data collection and consent-taking and assess capacity if required
  • Contribute to project on developing accessible anxiety measures in stroke and provide research mentoring opportunities
