Job summary

The University of Sheffield invites applications for a 1-year interdisciplinary post-doctoral position within the FEVER EPSRC project, focusing on renewable generation, energy storage and smart grids for EV fleets. You will join a cross-university team to address research challenges and publish outputs.

You will analyze commercial EV fleet charging needs, coordinate with partners, and contribute to work package deliverables while advancing the UK NetZero transport agenda.

Qualifications

• PhD in interdisciplinary context including Business/Management and Engineering.
• Strong modelling/Maths/analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake research on EV fleet energy needs and integration with energy storage systems at demonstrator sites.
• Record data from fleet users and charging stations for funders and academics.
• Prepare and support dissemination of papers for journals/conferences.
