Job summary

A research organization is looking for a Research Associate/Senior Research Associate in Bristol, UK, to support a randomized controlled trial on demand for contraception in Nigeria. The successful candidate will monitor data collection, analyze results, and possibly contribute to reports. An honours degree in Economics or related field and experience with large datasets using Stata is required. This is a full-time position for 6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Review, adapt, and pre-test survey instruments
  • Monitor data collection to ensure protocol fidelity
  • Coordinate with PIs and survey firms to address field challenges
  • Clean and analyze data according to the plan
  • Support related research tasks, such as preparing replication packages
  • Conduct literature reviews
  • Contribute to reports and future grant applications as qualified

Summary of the Organization:

Summary of the Role:

This position based in Bristol aims to support Professors Christine (University of Bristol and J-PAL), Grant Miller (Stanford University and J-PAL), and Áureo de Paula (University College London) in implementing and analyzing data for a randomized controlled trial on demand for contraception in Nigeria.

You will work closely with the principal investigators and survey partners to develop and test survey instruments, monitor data collection fidelity, clean data, and analyze results. Depending on your qualifications and motivation, you may also contribute to reports and grant applications.

This is a 6-month full-time position. You must already have the right to work in the UK.
