Job summary

Loughborough University is seeking a Research Associate in Information Management for People-led Net Zero. This fixed-term, full-time (or part-time) role is based in the Wolfson School and supports an ambitious transdisciplinary project with multiple universities and industry partners.

You will explore how information, data, and system insights can be created, communicated, and adopted by diverse stakeholders involved in net zero transitions; the position is 18 months in duration with

Join the Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering at Loughborough University, where you will play a central role in an ambitious transdisciplinary research collaboration with the Universities of Bath, Sheffield, Strathclyde and a range of industry partners. You will play a central role in understanding, designing, and evaluating how information, data, and system insights can be effectively created, communicated, and adopted by diverse stakeholders involved in net zero transitions.

• Experience conducting research and delivering high-quality academic or technical outputs.
• Knowledge of systems thinking, information management, modelling, data analysis, or stakeholder engagement methods.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to a range of audiences.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
