Job Description:

We wish to appoint a Research Associate with expertise in economics or health economics to join the Health Organisation, Policy and Economics (HOPE) research group, based at the University of Manchester.

The successful applicant will work closely with Dr Anna Wilding, as well as wider project teams. You will be based in the Division of Population Health, Health Services Research and Primary Care, in the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health.

The role allows a mix of office-based and homeworking from within the UK. The minimum expectation is that you attend the office in Manchester weekly for research group meetings/seminars (currently on Tuesdays). You will also attend project team meetings as needed and may travel occasionally within the UK for work purposes.

Project: Assessing the impact of different models of integrating new or extended roles into primary care: A comparative analysis of England and Scotland

This is a mixed-methods NIHR-funded study; the postholder will conduct the quantitative work package alongside Dr Anna Wilding, Prof Matt Sutton, and Prof Bruce Guthrie.
