The University of Edinburgh seeks a Research Associate to support the ADIA2 project at the Institute for Integrated Micro & Nano Systems (IMNS). The selected individual will engage in various tasks involving digital IC design and contribute to an innovative research environment until March 2028.

Job description

Grade UE07: £40,497 - £48,149 per annum

College of Science & Engineering / School of Engineering / Institute for Integrated Micro & Nano Systems (IMNS)

Full-time: 35 hours per week

Fixed-term: until 31st March 2028

The Opportunity:

This Research Associate position will contribute to the ADIA2 project within the IMNS institute at the University of Edinburgh, which is funded by DSTL.The role is subject to DSTL security clearance checks and appointment will be subject to candidates successfully completing these checks as well as right to work in the UK checks.

This role is at Grade UE07 and is available on a fixed-term basis until 31 st March 2028.

Your skills and attributes for success (in no particular order):

  • Good grasp of the digital IC design flow.
  • Tape-out experience.
  • Good scripting skills (e.g. SKILL & Ocean Script.)
