A leading research institution in Manchester is seeking an enthusiastic post-doctoral research scientist to join a project focused on developing new treatments for brain tumours. This full-time role involves investigating immunological pathways and applying techniques in microscopy and flow cytometry. The ideal candidate holds a PhD with relevant experience. We seek an enthusiastic and highly motivated post-doctoral research scientist to work on a project, funded by the Medical Research Council, to examine the immunological pathways and physiologic processes that can be targeted to develop new treatments against brain tumours that form in individuals with the rare disease NF2 schwannomatosis.
The successful candidate will join the lab of Prof. Kevin Couper and work closely alongside the labs of Prof. David Brough and Prof. Omar Pathmanaban based in FBMH.
This full-time post is for up to 36 months, with an anticipated start date of 1 October 2025.
