The School of Medical Sciences invites applications for the position of Research Associate (PDRA) tenable from 01/06/2025 for 36 months.

We are seeking to appoint a motivated researcher with a strong background in endometrial cancer research. The candidate will lead and support translational research projects for the Endometrial Cancer Research Group based at St Mary’s Hospital in Manchester. The Group has a large portfolio of ongoing and planned studies that will be accelerated through support from a laboratory scientist with expertise in translational research. The candidate will co-supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student projects and lead their own translational research projects.

The candidate is required to hold, or about to obtain, a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline. The successful applicant is expected to have specialist knowledge of translational endometrial cancer research and experience in laboratory research methods and techniques. The candidate should be well-organised, self-motivated, with excellent communication skills, and capable of working within a collaborative team.
