Job summary

Meeveem Limited is Cambridge-based and seeks an Applications Development team member to create and optimise applications for Amperia. You will collaborate with chemists, biotechnologists, physicists and engineers to advance protein analysis and develop innovative solutions.

You will plan activities with senior scientists, execute independently, troubleshoot problems with the Science team, and perform manufacturing procedures for exploratory biosensor runs.

Qualifications

• MSc in Biochemistry or related field.
• Lab experience and handling of protein samples.
• Experience with one or more: ELISA, SPR, BLI or other binding assays.
• Competent user of Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of Matlab or Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise assays and applications based on Amperia.
• Plan activities guided by senior scientists, and execute independently.
• Work together with the Science team to troubleshoot complex problems.
• Carry out manufacturing procedures of explorative runs of new biosensors and reagents.
• Analyse data independently, write experimental reports and communicate results.
