Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in physics or related field is required or near completion.
• Significant experimental expertise with 2D materials and van der Waals heterostructures.
• Experience with electrical, spintronic, thermal and thermoelectric measurements in devices.

Responsibilities

• Design and carry out experimental investigations of spintronic, orbitronics, thermal and thermoelectric properties of 2D materials and heterostructures.
• Perform device fabrication and characterisation using the Guimarães group facilities, CORDE, and Cambridge Graphene Centre.
• Collaborate with PhD students and other team members to advance the project objectives.
