Job summary

The Clinical Sciences Imaging Centre (CISC) at the University of Sussex (Brighton, UK) is seeking a research assistant for 12 months with possible extension for up to 6 months. You will collect and perform basic structural analysis of ultralow field MRI data for an ARUK-funded study and analyse questionnaire data from patients scanned on both high field and ultralow field MRI.

Qualifications

• Experience working with imaging data, especially ultralow field MRI.
• Background in MR physics and neuroscience is desirable.
• Good knowledge of MATLAB or Python is a strong advantage.
• Excellent time management and communication skills; ability to collaborate with others.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning, designing, and conducting scanning experiments.
• Liaise with clinicians and SPFT staff to enable patient recruitment.
• Coordinate scanning protocols and centralized data collection with Kent and Medway Medical School.
• Liaise with neuroradiologists responsible for clinical evaluation of imaging data.
• Participate in conferences and other research dissemination events.
