We are seeking an enthusiastic technical analyst to assist with the development of a unique online knowledge portal called CRISTAL (Resource for Risk Stratification research in Acute Leukaemia), hosting UK clinical trial datasets. You will work within the Leukaemia Research Cytogenomics Group at Newcastle University under the guidance of Professor Anthony Moorman and Dr. Tim Newton. Your main responsibility will be to assist in creating pipelines to extract, transform, and load data into CRISTAL. Depending on your skills, there may be opportunities to be involved in business analysis, software development (using dotnet C# with Blazor), and cloud services (AWS or Azure).
This role is part of the CRUK-funded project on acute leukaemia genomics, aiming to identify biomarkers and improve patient outcomes. You will work closely with experts in biology and treatment of leukaemia, leveraging datasets to advance research.
Applicants should have a BSc/MSc in computing, maths, or related fields, or relevant experience with medical or biological data. The position is fixed-term from 1 May 2025 to 30 April 2028.
