Zusammenfassung

Carbon60 is seeking a Research Assistant / Advanced Research Assistant for our Scientific Services team at The Innovation Centre, Headington, Oxford. You will support cutting-edge research programmes within Novo Nordisk's TIM department, contributing to cell culture, molecular biology workflows and data capture.

Advanced candidates will have greater autonomy, contribute to experimental design, mentor colleagues and help lead project workstreams in a fast-paced lab.

Qualifikationen

• BSc, HND or equivalent qualification in a Biological Science discipline.
• Experience with plasmid DNA preparation and cell sample prep.
• Experience working in a laboratory environment and following SOPs.
• Familiarity with LIMS/ELN systems and good documentation habits.
• Strong organisation and ability to work in a team.

Aufgaben

• Perform cell culture activities and sample preparation/storage.
• Support in vitro workflows including RT-PCR and qPCR sample prep.
• Undertake CRISPR screening studies.
• Conduct plasmid DNA prep using miniprep/maxiprep.
• Support viral production and transduction activities.
• Perform imaging, data generation and analysis.
• Record data accurately in LIMS/ELN and contribute to documentation.
• Contribute to procedure writing and continuous improvement.
