The School of Pharmacy at Queen’s University Belfast is seeking to appoint a Research Assistant.

The postholder will assist the research team in formulating and characterising lipid nanoparticles for nucleic acid/drug delivery.

The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate:

  • Obtained a degree or equivalent in Pharmacy
  • At least 1 year of recent relevant research experience in liposome formulation and characterisation using microfluidics
  • Some practical experience of applying specialist skills and techniques required for the role
  • Sufficient breadth or depth of specialist knowledge in the discipline and of research methods and techniques to work within own area

This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months. Fixed-term posts are available for the stated period initially but may be renewed or made permanent depending on funding availability.
