Our lab (NU-DICE Lab: https://research.ncl.ac.uk/kassem/nu-dicelab/) are looking for a talented and motivated Research Assistant or Associate in Data Visualisation & AI for Digital Twins to join us at Newcastle University for a fixed-term contract until 31/08/2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with AI and data visualisation (dashboards) in various digital twin projects undertaken with industry partners.
We’re looking for candidates with:
·Skills in AI & Machine Learning
·Proficiency in Python, Databases (SQL/NoSQL), and
·Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
·Prior experience in software development and integrating AI models into digital twin environments would be highly desirable.
You'll collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and with industry partners working on a project co-funded by Innovate UK.
Due to the temporary nature of the role, we are only considering candidates who are eligible to work in the UK.
