Job summary

Swansea University invites applications for a Research Assistant to contribute to the REACH-PSM project. You will carry out laboratory research on carbon‑based and planar perovskite solar cells, fabricate devices, optimise processing, and assess performance and stability.

Working within Swansea’s team, you will develop scalable lab protocols for low‑cost, screen‑printed solar technologies, document results, and collaborate with UK and African partners to advance knowledge exchange and circular

Responsibilities

• carry out experimental research on planar and carbon‑based perovskite solar cells
• optimise fabrication conditions and develop lab‑scale protocols with future scale‑up in mind
• analyse how fabrication parameters affect performance, stability and reproducibility
• keep thorough lab records and prepare reports, presentations and project documentation
• contribute to meetings, workshops and collaborative work with UK and African partners
