The post is fixed term until 31st March 2026. We offer flexible working arrangements including full-time, job share, and hybrid working options.

If we receive a high number of applications, we reserve the right to close this vacancy at any point after 17th August 2025.

This role supports the Trust Research Team in facilitating the adoption of research studies listed on the NIHR portfolio into clinical areas throughout the Trust. It also involves supporting and promoting other research opportunities, including helping develop the research culture.

The primary aim is to assist clinical services in participating in NIHR Portfolio Studies, support the development of the research culture, and prepare services for Clinical Trials of Investigational Medicinal Products (CTIMPs). The post may involve collaboration with academic institutions and research networks such as the Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN EoE).

Applicants may be newly qualified nurses or AHPs or current clinical staff seeking dedicated time to increase research adoption within their specialty. They should be able to contribute to research activities outside their clinical role.

Rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission, CCS provides high-quality, innovative services across the east of England, enabling care closer to home and promoting healthier lives. Our staff are highly rated in the national staff survey.

If you are passionate about innovative, high-quality care, please apply to join our journey as a leading-edge community provider. We promote staff engagement and development.

Ideally, candidates will have experience supporting clinical research and undertaking research administration tasks. However, full induction, training, and mentoring will be provided to transfer relevant skills.

You will support the development of the research culture, assist clinical teams in patient recruitment, conduct study assessments, and ensure accurate, timely data reporting. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

The role may involve contributing to other projects or research work streams across the Trust. Flexibility and mobility are required as the team covers various clinical specialties and geographical areas, with the base location to be confirmed; travel will be necessary.
