Research Assistant (0.4 or 0.6 FTE), London

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic research assistant with a background in social science and an interest in long-term conditions, health inequalities, and co-design research.

The post will be working on the project ‘A self-management toolkit for people with multiple long-term conditions experiencing socioeconomic deprivation: co-design and feasibility testing’ at the Research Department of Primary Care and Population Health.

The Department’s strategic aim is to deliver high-quality teaching in community-based primary care and public health and to undertake a programme of internationally competitive multi-disciplinary research addressing the management and prevention of disease in individuals and populations in areas of public health priority.

  • This is a fixed-term contract with external funding until 30th November.
  • The post is offered at either a 0.4 or 0.6 FTE.

About you

This position is suited to an organised and self-motivated individual with a passion to reduce inequalities. The post holder will recruit participants, collect outcome data, conduct qualitative interviews, and facilitate workshops. The post-holder will support peer researchers in conducting interviews and must be able to travel across different locations.
