Job summary

A leading biomedical research organization in Canary Wharf, London, is looking for a Research Assistant. This entry-level role involves conducting laboratory work, performing assays, and collaborating on clinical projects. Job description

We are currently looking for a Research Assistant to join a leading biomedical research organisation based in Canary Wharf, London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory work following Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
• Perform ELISA, RT-qPCR, and/or cell-based assays
• Maintain accurate records and follow standard operating procedures
• Work collaboratively with scientists and research staff on clinical projects

Requirements:

• Must have relevant industry experience following completion of a life sciences degree
• Good understanding of GCP (Good Clinical Practice)
• Hands-on experience with ELISA and RT-qPCR or cell-based assays
• Comfortable with rotating shifts: 7am–3pm and 3pm–11pm
• Able to work 1 weekend per month as part of the rota
• Must have permanent right to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided)
