Job description

We are looking for an expert Research Assistant with experience working on assay work using techniques like ELISA and RT-qPCR in cell and tissue culture who can do sample analysis and testing. Candidates with some post-doc experience can also apply.

Responsibilities
  • As a Research Assistant, you'll be instrumental in our lab operations, with a strong emphasis on performing accurate and efficient ELISA assays. Your responsibilities include:
  • Conducting precise ELISA sample analysis.
  • Performing various other sample processing techniques.
  • Contributing to a well-maintained lab environment.
  • Ensuring the integrity of clinical samples.
  • Adhering to strict quality and regulatory guidelines (GCP, MHRA, etc.).
  • Collaborating effectively within the lab team.
  • Managing your tasks and communicating proactively.
  • Contributing to accurate and compliant study data.
  • Assisting with sample management and understanding relevant regulations.
  • Supporting the preparation of study materials.
  • Learning from and supporting senior team members.
What You'll Bring
  • A Bachelor's degree (2:1 preferred) in a relevant scientific field.
  • Recent proven experience and strong understanding of ELISA techniques.
  • Recent proven experience with RT-qPCR, cell-based assays, and tissue culture.
  • Familiarity with GCP and MHRA standards in clinical trials.
