We are looking to recruit a research assistant to support us publishing research for our exciting new project.
Exciting investment at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust (CWPT) allows us to expand our existing Forensic Community Mental Health Team. We're building a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team of 27 skilled professionals to deliver outstanding mental health care to adults with forensic presentations. This ambitious, 2-year project is backed by significant funding and is focused on transforming mental health services for people who are a risk to others.

We're seeking passionate individuals with a background working with forensic service users and those with complex mental health needs. The roles will involvebuilding care pathwaysand fostering strong working relationships with other teams and external agencies, so excellentcommunicationandcollaboration skills are essential. If you're experienced in forensic settings (e.g., prisons, secure hospitals, probation) and have a solid understanding of the relevant legislation, we'd love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will have a relevant health / mental health related degree or qualification. They should be computer literate, with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. Knowledge of and experience of health and/or social care research is essential. The role will involve travel to research sites across Coventry and Warwickshire so applicants must have the ability to move freely across the Trust.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
