Salary: £27,901 - £30,267 per year dependent on experience

Location: Marischal College, Broad Street, Aberdeen /home working

Roles that require PVG Membership

Please note that with effect from 1 April 2023, where a role requires PVG membership, candidates will be required to meet the cost of the PVG membership. This applies only to roles with a full-time equivalent salary of £30,000 and above. (Teaching roles and jobs at Grade 11 and above (currently £30,285 per annum / £16.64 per hour)

The Council will pay for the PVG membership cost initially, either £18 for existing PVG scheme members, or £59 for non-members, and this cost will be deducted from an employee’s first FULL month’s salary payment.

Job Purpose/About the Role

As a member of the Community Planning Team within the Prevention and Community Empowerment Service, you will assist in the support of the design and delivery of the Local Outcome Improvement Plan and Locality Plans and the City Voice.

The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:

Advanced Excel skills and experience dealing with data and statistical information.

The postholder is able to demonstrate:

• Experience in working with, and using, different types of data.
• Experience with statistical software packages such as SPSS.
• Experience in using and maintaining data platforms such as Power BI and Excel.
• Ability to monitor, analyze, and report on data.
• Undertaking research and presenting information in a variety of formats suitable to the anticipated audience.
• Writing reports to present data and information clearly to a range of audiences, for example, elected members and the public.
