Job description

Research and Reporting Executive – Family Office (Part Time)

This role is to work for the advisory arm of this long-term endowment style funds of funds business.

You will be required to support the team with Investment Reporting, Research and write-ups on new funds and investment opportunities prior to submission to the Investment Committee.

This is a unique role where you will work with both the CEO and the Head of Research to:

  1. Build and maintain a network of LPs, advisors, and placement agents.
  2. Generate new investment sourcing and pipeline via both desktop research and network.
  3. Curate pipeline and write research notes on approximately 40 top quartile PE managers and liquid managers.
  4. Review and re-underwrite existing holdings to enable informed rebalancing discussions.
  5. Conduct ad hoc projects including maintenance and improvement of tools, templates, and databases for opportunities pipeline, network, reporting, and information management.
  6. Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting (including board packs) covering performance, capturing key points from managers' reports and market commentary.
  7. Monitor managers and capture key notes from meetings and updates.
  8. If needed, mentor junior team members on improving reporting product, approach, and critical thinking.

This position would suit a qualified CA, ACA, CFA, or CISI with a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant work experience who would like to work in a part-time capacity.
