School of Architecture Building and Civil Engineering

Part time: 18.5 hours per week (FTE 0.5)
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the post holder will lead and manage the research and innovation support function within the School ensuring that all activities are compliant with University policies and procedures. This will require maintaining strong working relationships with key business partners from Professional Services.
As the manager of the School Research and Innovation Support Team the post holder is responsible for managing and leading activities to ensure that a first-class service is provided to staff, students, and external partners. The role also involves working closely with the Associate Dean for Research & Innovation (ADRI) and senior colleagues in managing and overseeing key activities that support the School’s research and innovation strategy.
The position is 0.5FTE and OPEN-ENDED. As this position is managing several posts we would like it worked over a minimum of four days per week, hours to be mutually agreed at appointment.
