Role Overview:

Seeking an R&D Technician to join a vibrant, multidisciplinary team. The role involves laboratory testing, development of medical devices, and analytical testing methods.

Responsibilities:

• Perform testing according to established methods.
• Record data accurately following Good Laboratory Practices.
• Manage testing programs and ensure compliance with protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of inspection and testing materials and equipment.
• Ensure availability of materials, chemicals, and equipment for testing.
• Develop new test methods and perform additional testing as required.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Document and report test activities and results.
• Train other staff occasionally.
• Support other departments as needed.
• Participate in meetings and facilitate communication between departments.
• Maintain training records.

Candidate Profile:

• Knowledge of project work and deadline adherence.
• Understanding of product development processes.
• Familiarity with GMP/ISO13485/EN4600/FDA quality systems.
• Understanding of test procedures.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Educated to A-level in science or engineering or equivalent.
• Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Proficiency with PC systems and relevant software.
• Ability to analyze test results and prepare reports.
