Role Overview:

Seeking an R&D Technician to join a team with diverse scientific backgrounds. The role involves laboratory testing, development of medical devices, and analytical testing methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform testing according to established methods.
• Test materials/products per documentation and quality systems.
• Record data accurately following Good Laboratory Practices.
• Manage testing programs and ensure protocol adherence.
• Maintain inspection and testing equipment.
• Ensure availability of testing materials and chemicals.
• Develop new test methods and test other materials/products as needed.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Document and report test activities and results.
• Train staff occasionally.
• Support other departments as assigned.
• Attend meetings and communicate effectively across departments.
• Keep training records up to date.

Candidate Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of project work and deadlines.
• Understanding of product development procedures.
• Knowledge of GMP/ISO13485/EN4600/FDA quality systems.
• Understanding of test procedures.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Educated to A-level in science or engineering or equivalent.
