Seagate Technology in Derry/Londonderry, Northern Ireland seeks a Laser Design Modeling Engineer to join the Advanced Technology Research and Development team. We have over 1750 people working in our facility which is among the most advanced in the world, in the design, development, and volume manufacturing of recording heads. These recording heads write information onto and read information from the recording disc, within the data storage device. In the role of Laser Design Modeling Engineer, you will be working within the Advanced Technology Research and Development team. This team is part of the broader Recording Head Organisation. Partnering with the worldwide wafer development and test / characterization teams our responsibility is to develop and the recording heads for future generations of Hard Disk drives.

This is a Full-Time position working 39 hours per week, on-site working.
